In order to get the palette working for Uberbench, follow these steps:
First, copy the contents of the C directory contained in the Uberbench archive to the
C directory of your boot partition. Next, use ed (or any other text editor)
to edit the S/example-user-startup file in the
Uberbench archive. Copy the text contained in that file (it's a simple
command to setup the Uberbench palette).To do this, drag the mouse over the text with
the left mousebutton, select the text and hit RIGHT AMIGA C This will copy
it to a text clip). After this step is completed, load the S/user-startup from
your boot partition and paste the text next to the end of the file. You can
do this by hitting RIGHT AMIGA V Save the file by hitting ESC x
That's it! Reboot and the palette should be set. If you want a backdrop on
your Workbench, just set up WBPattern for a single color backdrop image (some
of these are supplied in the Startup drawer of the complete Uberbench
archive. The Uberbench palette is already set for a standard blue/gray
backdrop.
